The Santorini Cantilever Umbrella is a truly unique side post patio umbrella. This cantilevered umbrella is one of the few side post umbrellas that tilts side to side instead of front to back. The giant 10ft x 10ft square canopy offers 100 square feet of shade, providing more shade than an 11 foot Octagon umbrella. Choose from either Solefin solution dyed canopy or 3 choices of Sunbrella canopies. The 100% Solution dyed Olefin fabric is backed by a 30 month warranty and the Sunbrella canopies are backed by a 36 Month Warranty. Sunbrella canopies are more expensive and do cost a little more than the Olefin canopies however sunbrella is well worth the investment.
The Santorini frame is made of a rugged anodized aluminum with many versatile features. The umbrella pole has an integral crank so that anyone can easily raise and lower the canopy. (Please note: The canopy ribs are wrapped in plastic which will have to be removed before attempting to open this umbrella.) The patented tilt and lock mechanism allows the Santorini to be tilted in any number of positions to insure maximum shade coverage regardless of the sun´s angle. A single wind vent at the top of the canopy facilitates airflow, keeping the area under the umbrella cooler. The handy base foot pedal allows you to rotate the umbrella a full 360°. You could place the umbrella between your lawn furniture and your spa and easily rotate it for shade over either one. The umbrella´s base holds up to 200 lbs. of sand to provide firm support.
The Bronze colored aluminum pole and frame are backed by a 1-Year Warranty. The umbrella measures 9ft 10 inches high with a 10 square foot canopy and includes a free protective cover.
