Are swing set tarps universal, or do they only fit certain brands?
Most replacement canopies are designed to fit multiple brands as long as the measurements match. You can certainly have one custom made to fit nearly any brand playset like those from Gorilla Playsets, Backyard Discovery, Rainbow Play Systems, Cedar Works, Kid Kraft and others.

How do I know when it's time to replace my swing set canopy or tarp?
Every few months you should inspect your swing set and that includes the fabric canopy on the fort. There are some tell-tale visual signs it is time to replace your swing set / playset canopy top or tarp.
- Fraying - The edges of the fabric are fraying, the hems are starting to come apart.
- Tears or Rips - There are rips or tear holes in the middle or field of the canopy tarp.
- Cracking - Some fabric material, especially vinyl, can get long cracks in it, but hasn't yet torn.
- Fading - Everying put out in the sun and weather elements will evenually become dull and washed out. Even faded and washed out, the tarp may still be doings in job of shading. Replacement is more of personal choice.
What materials are used for swing set canopies, and which is best?
