Commercial Grade Standard Duty Metal Swing Sets - Residential Use too

Our high quality Metal Swing Sets with galvanized structures require very little maintenance. The overall strength of our swing set structures is superior. In fact, they hold much more weight than is needed or required for the swing set. Each bay (10ft swing beam) is designed to hold two children, Ages 5 - 12yrs old, per ASTM and CPSC guidelines. Our sets will more than meet these requirements if installed according to installation instructions. The beam is rated for 800lbs each swing event. Actual weight limits depend upon how the set is installed, the amount of concrete, the type of dirt in which the set is installed, how much use, etc. Therefore, we do not state weight limits for our swing sets.

4 Swing Metal Swing Set

Each Metal Swing Set comes with two 2-leg end supports. The 4 swing positions set will also have a two-leg middle support. These swing sets are engineered for extra strength with Schedule 40, 2" (ID) / 2-3/8" (Outside Diameter) rust-resistant galvanized steel pipe for both the beam(s) and legs. The beams are connected to the legs with Metal End (or Middle) Frame Fittings that have tested at 5,000 lbs by the National Test Lab. Each swing postition has aluminum compression clamping yokes and ductile iron swing hangers with oil impregnated bearings. The swing chains are rust-resistant galvanized 4/0 straight coil chain. Chains have at least 30" plastisol coated bottom ends that help prevent pinching the little fingers. You also have your choice of belt and plastisol coating color on all metal swing sets.

Engineered and Designed for Commercial use. Voluntarily meets or exceeds all recommendations of the ASTM Standard F 1487 95 and Consumer Product Safety Commission as outlined in the Handbook for Public Playground Safety.

Note: If planning to use the Metal Swing Set in a Commercial Environment, such as a church, daycare, school or neighborhood playground, then you may need to purchase Commercial Grade Swing Seats. Use of a residential rated swings in a Commercial Environment will void the warranty and may also be in violation of local codes. Check with local code enforcement officials prior to purchasing.
