Our Olefin Rope Hammocks are traditional hammocks with a synthetic braid. They are color-fast, highly resistant to rot and mildew, and treated with UV protectant. Olefin makes an excellent choice for hammocks because the olefin dries very quickly and is resistant to breakdown due to chemicals, perspiration, mildew, and weather. It is also stain resistant, easy to clean, and light weight -- everything you would want in a rope hammock.
Nylon Rope Hammocks are stronger than cotton, yet are soft, elastic, and lustrous; their comfort is hard to beat. Our Nylon Hammocks are hand woven from 100% industrial strength nylon. The nylon is the same quality found in fishing nets used by fishing industries. It is meant to be continuously in and out of water or the sunshine. It is built to last, yet the rope is very soft and silky to the touch. The nylon rope used to make these Hammocks has a tensile strength of 1000 lbs. and has been treated against rot, mildew, and ultra violet rays.
The Fabric Hammocks we offer are made with either authentic US Army rip-stop parachute nylon or Sunbrella fabric. Sunbrella fabrics are tough enough to withstand the extremes of Mother Nature, are fade and stain resistant, and will remain beautiful year after year. All of these superb hammocks feature a 5 Year Warranty against manufacturer defects and come in a variety of colors.
We also offer Air Chairs, Hammock accessories, and beautiful Mayan hammocks which are hand woven of 100% cotton cord with nylon end strings.
