Coolaroo Shade Fabric

Coolaroo's knitted shade cloth fabric blocks up to 90% of the sun's dangerous UV rays while "breathing" to allow air to circulate and keep the environment underneath much cooler. Coolaroo Shade Cloth is color fast and won't rot, mildew, or mold because the fabric is manufactured from a high tech fabric fiber that can maintain flexibility and strength even when exposed to the sun for long periods of time. Thanks to Coolaroo's heat processes, the shade fabric stands up to the heat and will not shrink. Coolaroo shade cloth is available in pre-packaged rolls and by the linear yard in 70% and 90% UV block strengths.

Commercial 95 Shade Fabric

If you are looking for a shade cloth in an exact size, we offer custom sizes using Commercial 95 fabric. The Commercial 95 material is a 320-340 grams per square meter, high density polyethylene knitted fabric specially designed to breathe and keep you cooler and more comfortable in hot weather. This state-of-the-art material blocks up to 98% of the sun's harmful UV rays, yet remains totally unaffected by moisture and natural temperature extremes. And because the fabric is knitted, not woven, it won't tear or fray. Commercial 95 Custom Shade Cloth has sewn edges around the perimeter to provide a clean, finished look. Grommets can be installed along the edges if desired. The material itself is waterproof, but the fabric is a knitted mesh and will not block water from coming through. The Commercial 95 shade fabric is available by the liner yard, in rolls, or in custom made shade cloths.

Both of these Shade Fabrics can be easily attached to any wooden structure with screws because their lock-stitch construction prevents tearing or fraying when the material is cut.

Both fabrics come with a 10 year warranty that protects against UV degradation, manufacturer's defects, and material.
