This fabric is a high quality shade fabric made of HDPE (high density polyethylene) knitted fabric specifically developed to withstand the rigors of the elements. This state of the art material blocks up to 96% of the sun's harmful UV rays while allowing air to circulate and keep the environment underneath much cooler. It is unaffected by moisture and natural temperature extremes, and because Commercial 95 fabric is knitted, not woven, it won't tear or fray.

Commercial 95 material itself is waterproof, but is a woven mesh material and will not block or pool water.

This fabric was designed for use in tension shade contruction, and any application where shade or privacy is needed. Shade Cloth has many uses and offers protection from the sun in a variety of ways. Shade cloth is perfect for covering pergolas, entryways, gazebos, porches, carport structures, dog kennels or dog runs, as protection for delicate plants and even fish pond shade. It can also be used as a shade for livestock, or privacy fence.
