The heavy duty 70lb base is designed for free standing patio and market umbrellas and does not have to be used with a patio table. The 70 lb base has a 28" base, 2.5" neck (Inside Diameter) and 21" neck length with tensioning screws to secure your umbrella. We also stock the same style base in a 35lb version meant for use with a patio table.
