Equilateral Triangle Shade Sail 12 ft - SunBrella Forest Green

SunBrella Equilateral Triangle Shade Sails feature SunBrella breathable fabric to keep you cooler and more comfortable in hot weather. These sails provide a UV protection factor of up to 98% and can be mounted to a variety of surfaces and are easy to install. Use a shade sail to create a shaded area anywhere around your home or office. This state of the art material is unaffected by moisture and natural temperature extremes. SunBrella fabric is fade and water resistant. The near waterproof fabric also resists stains, mildew and rot. The perimeter of each sail contains seatbelt type webbing for increased strength & durability and is designed with a gentle cantenary curve inwards towards the center of the sail to control the fabric tension. Each corner has a welded solid marine grade, stainless steel attachment ring to aid in attaching to a structurally sound fixing point. Shade sails, when installed properly, do not sag or flap in the wind.

All measurements are approximate and state the distance from the tip of one D-ring to the tip of the next D-ring along each side in a straight line assuming correctly installed and proper tension has been applied.

Sunbrella Shade Sails have to be installed at a 20 degree slope to allow water to run off the sail and not pool on top of the sail. This translates to about a one foot drop for every 3 feet of shade sail. For example, if your sail is a 12 foot square it will have a vertical difference of a 4 foot drop between the two mounting ends. Due to the limited available SunBrella fabric widths, there will be seams approximately every 40-57 inches.

Note: Recommended attachment points should be at least 10% longer than the side of the shade sail to allow for attachment hardware and to allow for proper tensioning. IE: If the distance of the side of the shade sail is 10 feet, then the attachment points for this side of the shade sail should be at least 11 feet apart.
