Retractable awnings have simple adjustments to change the pitch, and consist essentially of the fabric, the frame, and the operating mechanism. The addition of a retractable awning to your home creates extra space. It is a fun, useful element that can also be considered decorative. With retractable awnings, you are in control of light or shade and can enjoy outdoor activities, avoid excessive heat, sun exposure, and mild rains by controlling the shading on your deck, window, patio, terrace, or balcony. The use of shading will protect your carpet, furniture, and drapes by blocking UV rays.

A minimum height of 7' 6" from the ground is recommended to install the awning. Once extended, the awning will tilt 21 degrees downwards with the lowest point measuring 6' 6" from the ground for versatile shading. Awning extends and retracts using a Crank Handle. Should be retracted during high winds. Requires 3 courses of brick above awning installation, or approximately 12in. (30cm) from the top beam of the wall frame for weatherboard or concrete walls. If unsure about structure's ability to support the weight, consult a professional builder or engineer. Attach to brick, concrete, or weather board. Ready-made; complete with all installation accessories. Install the retractable awning yourself in a single day. Usually takes less than 1 hour to install.
